Twenty-three scholastic chessplayers competed on August 2, 2008 in Horsham, PA. Top seed Kevin Zhou once again took first place, winning all four of his games. Tying for second place with scores of 3-1 were Rachel Yakobashvili, Yasasvi Hari, Drew Moses, Andrew Luo, and Max DuBoff. The highest-scoring school team was Goodnoe Elementary, with 5.5 team points. |
