At Silver Knights, we are always on the lookout for motivated instructors. We give a great deal of training and support to our coaches and offer a flexible schedule. It is very important to us to attract and keep highly qualified coaches, so we pay a competitive salary and offer bonuses for reaching certain incentives. We also have several openings for assistant coaches. Applicants should ideally be high school or college students who are rated chess players and enjoy working with children. We occasionally offer outsdanding coaches a full-time position. Coaches applying for full-time positions should have significant prior experience coaching chess to elementary school children. Other factors that help are a high USCF rating and experience directing tournaments. An online application is available here. |
