Fall Warm-Up

Scholastic chess tournament in three sections. Section 1 is open to players in grades K-3 who are rated under 1000 or are unrated. Section 2 is open to players in grades 4-8 who are rated under 1000 or are unrated. Section 3 is open to all players in grades K-12.

Sections 1 and 2 - Four round swiss-paired tournament. Time control: G/30. Rounds at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 1:00. Up to two 1/2-point byes available.

Section 3 - Three round swiss-paired tournament. Time control: G/40. Rounds at 10:00, 11:20, 12:40. One 1/2-point bye available.

Trophies to top players and school teams. Awards ceremony 2:00-2:15. USCF membership required. Click here to check for an existing USCF#. Free game analysis for all players. Online registration is $20 before midnight Wednesday, $23 Thursday, or $25 Friday before noon. Registration by mail is $25.
