Bryan Smith is the highest rated player ever from Alaska. Some of his accomplishments include winning the 2007 Pennsylvania Championship; first place in the 2007 Greater Philadelphia Open; first place in the 2006 U.S. Masters; winning the Championship of Alaska in 1996, 2002, and 2003; and first place in the North American FIDE Open in 2006. He has extensive experience teaching chess and likes to share his chess knowledge with children. Bryan currently resides in Philadelphia. |
